Oh how I love being a woman. There’s always something to explore and at the top of my list is

*Guape.* I know the first thing that comes to your mind after hearing this is Tomi Agape or her

sexy brand and if it isn’t then there’s a lot of schooling needed to be done because how do you

mean you do not know the sexiest footwear brand on the block. Yeah, you heard me right. What’s

really fascinating to me is how well Tomi Agape channels her utmost creativity and energy into

her brand . I mean you can’t listen to what she did on Complicated or Full moon and except

anything less from her; because this brand is beyond sexy. Take it from me; we have impeccable

taste over here and wouldn’t try to put you on to anything “mid” or not cute. Before I start, let me

elaborate that this is for my ladies as per usual.

Well for those unaware, I’m going to be preaching the gospel of guape or the gospel of Aguaps

as I love to call it. Take a seat and prepare to take notes because we’re going to be talking style

and class.

A little background story on the brand wouldn’t hurt. Shockingly, the brand was launched last

year and from what I can see, it doesn’t even look like it. There’s so much creativity fueling this

brand and I’m so sat for the outcome in years to come.

CHAPTER 1- THE ORCHID BOOTS

It’s almost impossible to have a favorite from the brand but boy o boy, the Orchid boots

absolutely stand out for me. They’re like a personal favorite. If I were to recommend a pair of

heels that’s most likely to go with every possible style in existence, I’d go with it. Nothing says

Gen Z baddie quite like it. What’s even more exciting is its variants. There’s an open toe Orchid

boot and even a close toe Orchid boot; talk about inclusivity. And guess what, as the name

implies, there’s an actual Orchid design.

This brand stands out for me because of the intentionality and creativity in its designs. It has

amazing features of actual flowers and these flowers make it to the name of the heels. If you ask

me, I’d say this is a close substitute to getting flowers, because trust me flowers die, but Guape

heels are for a lifetime.

CHAPTER 2- THE CRYSTAL RIBBON HEELS

My jaw dropped the moment I set my eyes on these. I was aroused. Can’t even lie, we have to

give Tomi Agape and her entire team their flowers because this is a show stopper, the type to

make heads turn. Looks like and is as fine as ice. It caught my eye and immediately I knew who it

was made for. We’re talking baddie alte girls that always love to stand out. Stepping into the

function with such beauties, what a way to make a statement without much noise. What stands

out for me are its ribbons that just give off a very dreamy Disney princess type of look. Ugh! I’m

in love.

CHAPTER 3- THE ORCHID MULES & HEELS

Very cutesy, very demure, very mindful; a perfect description for these picks. I love how the

designs with Guape are endless. It’s very on theme with the cute clean girl aesthetic; both the

mules and heels are absolute beauties. Very much giving early 2000s IT girl vibe, sex and the

city character style. The girls that get it, get it and that’s just it. They would definitely go with

everything and I mean everything. Such extremely versatile pieces. I mostly picture them with

dinner outfits or little cute dresses, but I was extremely satisfied with how Tiwa Savage styled

hers; she instantly opened my eyes to the possibility of endless styles with the piece. Definitely a

must have this summer…whether it’s for the club, a rave or you’re pulling up in a mini skirt to the

function, I highly recommend these babies.

CHAPTER 4- THE ANTHURIUM HEELS

Remember how I said the designs are endless with Guape, well take a look at these nasty girls.

They’re bad as hell. I keep on getting blown away by Guape. It’s always something cool and

exciting. Again, how I love being a woman. This is such a bad girl piece…for those who always

dare to be different, most especially for the Sabi girls. And as the name implies, its distinctive

design is an anthurium flower. This for my girlies who love distinctive styles and love to make

statements when they step into the room. I am really amazed at the intentionality to detail each

piece from Guape possesses. Flowers really do die, but not this one.

CHAPTER 5- THE GRIZZLY MULES

Can I say “another banger” because this really is another banger. Wow. Just wow. I think this

speaks for itself. Guape studio, you have done it again. There’s something about fur that just screams luxury. It’s always there, you can’t even deny it. Want to definitely noticed, step out in these and thank me later. I’ll definitely be waiting for my credit for putting you on to this naughty

girl.

Ugh! Everything Guape is so sexy, I can go on and on about our personal favorites of the brand

here at OWN but I don’t want to be tagged a certified yapper or anything like that. At least I got
