We’re already in 2025, but we havent forgotten about the record breaking music and artists that came out in the previous year. TurnTable Charts released the official end of the year charts for 2024 with artists like Asake, Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibes dominating the list.
The Turntable year end charts is compiled by comprehensive data from both streaming and AirPlay across various music streaming platforms in Nigeria.
Asake and Ayra Starr were the overall number one male and female artists respectively, both superstars have topped the charts since 2022. Icons!
The only woman to appear on the chart in a category not exclusive to women was Mercy Chinwo, who was the number one gospel artist for the year and also had the number one gospel of the year. Reiterating the arguments that some Nigerians have a problem streaming music mage by women.
Rapper and HipHop star, ODUMODUBLVCK, ended the year as the number one Rap artists ending Olamide’s four year streak.
Loseyi continues his fine form on streaming platforms by finishing the year as the number one steaming artist as well as having the most streamed song on Apple Music with Different Pattern.
